Super Hero poster of Akshay Kumar’s Padman is out today. Padman is comedy-drama film directed by R. Balki, featuring Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in lead roles. Amitabh Bachchan will appear in a special role.

The film will be based on Twinkle Khanna’s book, The Legend Of Lakshmi Prasad, which is inspired from the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham. Tamil Nadu-based social activist Arunachalam Muruganantham, revolutionised the concept of menstrual hygiene in rural India by creating a low-cost sanitary napkins machine.
Sony Pictures became the global distributor for the film and its all set to release in India on Republic day, 26th January 2018.
