Actress Rukmini Vasanth, who is starring alongside Yash in the much-anticipated film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, recently opened up about the film’s scale, ambition, and creative vision.

Speaking at a recent India Today event, Rukmini shared her experience of working with Yash. She said, “He is an incredibly passionate artist, a wonderfully creative and amazing human being. Working with him at the early stages of my career feels like a privilege. I feel like a sponge, absorbing as much as possible from his perspective. Artists are usually different from one another, but his passion and dedication to his craft are truly extraordinary.”

Talking about Toxic, Rukmini said, “The film has a universal perspective. Sometimes, it feels like more than just a film it feels like a movement, capturing what the cultural zeitgeist might be. Having such a universal approach is truly special.”

This perspective is particularly noteworthy considering the creative forces behind the film. Yash, who redefined pan-Indian stardom with the KGF  franchise, is known for his larger-than-life action appeal. On the other hand, Geetu Mohandas is globally recognized for her work and cinematic sensibilities. With J.J. Perry’s global action expertise, Toxic brings together grand spectacle, exceptional action, and deep emotional resonance, rewriting the rules of Indian cinema’s blockbuster storytelling.
