Aamir Khan who is currently on a promotional spree for his upcoming release Secret Superstar has worked on the post-production editing of the film. The multi-talented actor is not only playing an integral part in the film as a quirky music composer, Shakti Kapoor but has also worked on the post – editing of the film. Aamir Khan took off time from the shoots of Thugs and made sure that the editing is wrapped before film’s promotions.
Advait Chandan director of Secret Superstar shares, “It’s my first film and obviously, I’ve been really nervous and anxious. But thankfully Aamir sir took time off from Thugs to help me wrap the post-production of the film. He came and gave his approval to the VFX and DI (colour correction) in the film, he spent the last few nights fine-tuning the final Sound Mix. He insisted on watching the first copy before he left to promote the film and once I had his final approval on the complete product, I’ve been sleeping peacefully!!”
The actor-producer Khan who is very particular about his work has left no stone unturned and has been traveling all over the world for the promotions of the film.
Secret Superstar is based on a teenage girl named Insia, played by Zaira Wasim, who sets out to follow her dream of being a singing superstar under the confinement of anonymity.
The film’s trailer and the earlier released songs have been receiving much love and appreciation from all quarters.
Produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao under the banner name of Aamir Khan Productions, Zee Studios, and Akash Chawla, Secret Superstar is written and directed by Advait Chandan. The film is slated to release on 19th October 2017.
