The National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) and Drumroll Pictures hosted a special screening of its latest release Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain which is directed by Harish Vyas and stars Sanjay Mishra, Ekavali Khanna, Shivani Raghuvanshi, Anshuman Jha, Brijendra Kala and Pankaj Tripathi.
The film is being applauded as a coming of age story on elderly love. The film is presented by NFDC, produced by Manav Malhotra of Drumroll Pictures in association with Bunty Khan’s Shiny Entertainment and is co-produced by Swaroop Chaturvedi. The film releases across cinemas in India today. The music of the film has also garnered rave reviews from critics and listeners alike, veteran lyricist Yogesh Gaur of Anand, Mili, Baaton Baaton Mein, Manzil fame has penned lyrics for the romantic track Meri Aankhen and the number is receiving widespread appreciation.]
The special screening which was held at PVR Citimall, Andheri, Mumbai was attended by director Harish Vyas, actors Sanjay Mishra, Pankaj Tripathi, Anshuman Jha, Shivani Raghuvanshi and Ekavali Khanna among others. Notable director Indra Kumar and actor Deepak Dobriyal also attended the screening.
Harish Vyas, the director of Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain said, “The moment we all have been waiting for is here. The early reviews, word of mouth and the feedback we received at today’s screening and the one held in Delhi recently have been extremely encouraging. I am hoping that this momentum will be carried forward by audiences and it will meet with equally enthusiastic responses from them.”
Actor Sanjay Mishra said, “This has been a really special film for me. It is very heartening to see the positive reactions the film received today and at the screening in Delhi. The early reviews of the film also have been very positive and I am confident that it will encourage audiences to go and watch the film in theatres.”
Actor Pankaj Tripathi said, “My role in the film has been quite a departure from the ones I have portrayed earlier and I was eager to see how people react to it.
