Malvika Raaj who has been seen in Karan Johar’s Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham as child artist is now making her Bollywood debut as leading lady in Emraan Hasmi’s ‘Captain Nawab’.

In Karan Johar’s Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’ Malvika had played Kareena Kapoor Khan’s childhood character.

‘Captain Nawab’ is film based on real life incidents,  Emraan is playing Army officer in it.  Makers of ‘Captain Nawab’ was looking for fresh face for leading lady. A heroine whose screen presentation is very good and supportive. And after the audition of Malvika, director Tony D’Souza realized that this might be the heroine of his film.

 

 

Tony D’Souza says, “We were going to do something new. In such a case, it was necessary to have the right selection of the story of the heroine of the story. We feel good by choosing Malvika in this role. Malvika had to go through the rounds of some auditions and then she was selected due to her good performance. Due to having a working from a family working in the film industry and because of working as a child artist, Malvika has a good sense of acting.

‘Captain Nawab’ is presented by Emraan Hashmi Films and Oddball Motion Pictures is directed by  Tony D’Souza.
