Her name is Sridevi , when she was 9 years old , I was born and my father named me Shreedevi after this beautiful child artist .🙏🙏 I grew up watching her movies 🎥 and wish I could become an actor too. and saw how dignified and graceful she was. I got my first movie offer when I was 15 but my family said no to movies 🎥, than got married at the age of 19 had a son and got divorced , 🙏🙏 proud to raised a good son as single mom. But today I am proud to have completed my International feature film, directed by Amit Khanna .its never too late to do something in life. ❤️ and i am so sad she is no more but she has inspired so many including me and she herself is a acting institute . I dedicate my film to Sridevi . #sridevikapoor #actress #shreedevichowdary #stylishwoman#legendary #instagram #instagramcats #hollywoodstudios #hollywood#jhanavikapoor #inspiration#beverlyhills #beverlyhills90210 #love#sad#sridevikapoor #janhvikapoor#subhashsinghmakeup#janhvikapoor
Friends in Law, a thought-provoking story about an orthodox Indian mother going on a journey of self-realization after spending 10 days with her gay son’s partner is a first of its kind Indian film about the acceptance of homosexuality. Producers of the film are hoping to open an important debate on gay rights in India with an engaging story told predominantly in English. The movie will travel to other high profile film festivals around the world before getting a global release. Producers are confident that the audiences will be entertained and will think about the film long after it has ended. Director and co-producer Amit Khanna hopes the team can use the power of cinema to make a positive difference.
Unlike other Indian films where gay people are portrayed as victims or outcasts, Friends In Law presents the gay male protagonist in a positive way. British actor Ashlin Harris plays the gay son’s partner.
