‘CRD’ is set in the world of college theater and probes fascism and fierce competition in the field of arts, with a wildly innovative style. Kranti Kanade explores if art could be placed in the context of a competition and where to draw the line. Probing the obsession around ‘winning’, he stages an ideological debate between totalitarianism versus free spirit and status quo versus breaking away.

The film premiered at Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles, followed by screenings at the London Indian Film Festival and Stuttgart Indian Film Festival.

CRD, written by Kranti Kanadé & Dharmakirti Sumant, features Mrinmayee Godbole, Vinay Sharma, Saurabh Saraswat, Abhay Mahajan and Isha Keskar in the lead roles. Music is by Emmy Award Winning Composer, Garth Neustadter and DOP is Daniel Katz, his ‘Curfew’ won Academy Award for Best Short Film and is slated to release in India on 29th September, 2017.
