For Uri, she has been taking MMA classes and has been pushing the limits of fitness to ensure she gets the body language and demeanour of an armed forces officer before she begins shooting for the film. Recently, her co-star from Uri, Vicky Kaushal, challened her to the #HumfittohIndiafit challenge. The challenge was initiated by the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Mr. Rajyavardhan Rathore.
Yami didn’t just take on the challenge, she aced it by posting a video of her doing four different functional training excercises, outdoors. Because of all the training she has been doing for her role in Uri, it definitely gave her an upper hand and that could be seen in the videos.
She also told fans on her social media that one doesn’t need a gym only to work out, just open space and the determination to do it.
After seeing her do this challenge like a cake walk, we cannot wait to see the action packed stunts she does on screen for Uri.
